So I have a 2005 320d auto with 113k miles on it, so recently I've noticed that I get a lack of power when accelerating and it's usually when it's on a incline or with some passengers in the car.

It doesn't happen all the timto but it did when I was increasing from 50 upwards, I would press the throttle and nothing would happen. Only way for it to sort itself out is to mash the throttle or back off. The revs don't increase either so it's not like it's slipping

Another time it happened if when I slowed down to let a car pull out (10-15mph) and when I went to increase speed the same thing happened again. Pressing the throttle progressively all the way down and nothing happened until I came off and tried again.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of what the issue could be

Thank you in advance :P

Ive heard about people resetting the fly by wire throttle adaptions to improve throttle response, might be a good place to start

Does sound like something is wrong with fly by, does your traction control light up the moment you press accelerator by any chance?

In terms of resetting transmission adaptive values I've done it by using ISTA. The changes are a lot smoother but the issue still happened again once it had been reset.

Although it is a possibility that the throttle pedal has gone wrong?
