^^^ That's more like it. No three cylinder bullshit either.

I've been offered a 320d GT for a couple of days to do a CC road test but I just can't be arsed.

Not exactly "new", it's been out since 2012? :)

Apart from the silly bit of joining the headlamps with the grill, which looks a bit cheap'ish, what's not to like about it?

Looks great, drives well, the interior is the usual BMW, nothing special, but all nice and practical...

Mind you, it has to be an M Sport.

However, I do agree that the current BMW range has some stupid models, i.e. 2 series, the 2 series MPV, all the GTs and Gran Coupes...

Isn't the 2 series saloon similar is size to the E30? I quite like that model along with the series one saloon. (M sport of course)

The 2 series is plain ugly from front to back....And its short wheelbase doesn't help much.

335i is great, but it's still turbocharged (like everything nowadays), so not exactly a "true BMW", but definitely miles better than all the 4 pot crap.

I love mine. Had it since late Feb (I had the choice of 10 more days with my crappy shortened Merc that didn't like stopping in snow and a 15 plate or getting it immediately on the 64 plate - it's not really mine anyway).

325d M Sport, great to drive, the turbos wake up nice and early, it sips diesel if you want it to, everything feels like it tightens up in sport mode or it will play tree hugger in Eco Pro.

Side by side with the cabby it shows how things have changed.

But now we're a 2 325 family - F30 325d and E30 325i (you can guess which one gets the garage :D )

If it was my money i would be straight around the jag garage, Bmw range today is too big and i feel they are nothing special like they used to be. To me they are just as commom as a Ford.

I saw the new smaller jag on the M42 on Sunday - looked fantastic!! I'd buy it over a new BM any day. :)
