Sorry mate but that colour combo is horrid and Cat D?
Looks unmolested enough unlike many E36 328's.
What's the plans for it?

That looks a nice car Chris. At that age and value (lack of) the fact it is on the list is not really relevant. As a non sunroof tidy manual 328 it is always going to be a bags worth, providing spook junior does not destroy it !

Looks Sea Green to me and my 318Is was that colour.
Bit cheeky calling it an individual colour on the ad....pretty sure it's just an E46 run out colour to spice up the option book for the last year or so.
Interiors on e36's always look crap on anything without a black dash IMO.

i saw this and liked it, those in the know will think a good e36 328 is one of the all time greats from BMW as a real world daily car. Brilliant when new and have proved to be strong in old age with the right love.
Green on cream is a classy colour combo

I remember the e39 528i being described as the best car in the real world when it was released. Long forgotten now

+1 Cat D is irrelevant on a car of this age ? wouldn't put me off at all it looks in fine fettleAndyboy wrote:That's a nice car for 1200 quid and a keeper.
All depends on how long ago the cat D was.
Most likely recent then as minor damage such as a dent in the rear panel is enough to write of a low value car.spook wrote:It was only a dent in the rear panel,it could have happened last week or 10 years ago,I've not seen it this weekend as Lloyd's been out in it all the time and that's what it all about.
If it was cat D when it was a year or two old for example, the cost of the damage would have been higher there for more extensive.
