Anyone know of where you can get E46 Coupe door rubbers for a reasonable price? Mine have got a few tears meaning that anytime there is water on the road it sounds like you navigating the Atlantic. I've spoken to Coopers in Norwich who want £225... per side...unfitted. :D

Are any of the independent part stockists any cheaper?

Thanks!

Shocking indeed! I think its because of the they have a felt bit at the top for trapping the window as it closes. I had a look on Euro's website but failed miserably in locating the required part. :(

I'll pop in the Norwich branch the next time I'm passing.

Dealer only part and yes very expensive for what they are!

Try a BMW breaker like FAB or Quarry.

As Barry mentioned, they're dealer only. The reason for the expense is somewhat justified by the anti-trap technology used in the top of the seem for the window.

Fairly easy to fit though if you buy them yourself. Just use a rubber mallet to whack the excess seal onto the skirt

I notice its common for E46 door rubbers to come off in hot weather.

Ive got the same problem with my coupe - rubber burst and the inner tube keeps popping out - it does make wind noise etc really annoying - Ive been looking on ebay etc - cheapest was £100 from midland BM?

Afraid so. Though as over the coming month I've got to Tax, MOT and service the E30, MOT and service the E46 and also have some paintwork sorted where some clown clipped it the other day its slipped down the priority order!
