Think that list is a bit of a waste of time Dave to be honest?
Noticed at least 1 person on there doing a couple of buy/sell deals in the last couple of weeks, clearly not detered him or those dealing.
Need some sort of marker/warning symbol in the avatar box, only way IMO!

I know Tony, I am sorry for this. I am getting more and more frustrated with some individuals blatant carefree attitude on here.
Takes the p!ss if I'm allowed to be blunt.

Wouldn't it make more sense in the instances where this happens to ban the members concerned???
This member isn't the first, and if the Team don't do something positive in the way of a deterrent, he will be a long way from the last.
It won't be long before dealing here will be riskier than eBay.

Imho, this has to be the way for repeat offenders. Once , maybe twice could be down to honest mistakes or cock ups, but when the person/s in question doesnt answer pm,s posted on this site, and still have the front to browse threads etc, then thats taking the piss big time..
Lets be straight about this, in some cases its amounting to downright theft and tbh people have been banned for less. Without a plausible reason/escuse then 2 strikes and out seems fair. Personal pickup of items is always best but not always possible or even economical, especially when the item youve been defrauded out of makes the difference of your car running or not. So its down to you Mods really, we can only let you know who is doing the tealeafing, we dont have the power., which is a good thing. This is in no way a critiscism of any mod, either real or fictional and no animals or plants were harmed in the composition of this post.

We are discussing the situation at the moment in the mods area.
Off the record, Now speaking as Dave not d6dph.
I am getting sick and tired of this sort of thing happening. I am hoping some sort of solid resolution can be made and a precedent set.
Switching back to mod mode in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1............ Stop spamming this topic you bunch of b**tards, I'll have to lock it grrr grrr grrrr

Kick this loser off the forum ffs!
He's a serial offender and strong action needs to be taken
He's perfectly willing to take peoples money but is not so keen to send what he has been paid for
I'll wager non of the people he has let down are within sensible driving distance from him.

unfortunately i kicked my cat across the room in a rage after i read this thread and she landed in our big potted plant therefore killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
obviously that last comment was totally made up purely for comedy purposes.

ive given mikey the benefit of the doubt the last couple of similar threads as he seems a decent guy when weve met but as already said once can be put down to a mistake, twice is careless but 3 or more times is taking it to far and gives a more devious impression

thing is ban him and he can (as Ratch repeatedly does..) come back under a new unknown name.. Is there anyway to stop him being able to use the for sale forums/pm functions maybe, but i guess again a new username would get round that.. Hmmmm

Ban people and only allow people to sell stuff over a tenner if they have 500 posts? Then if you ban people and they get a new username they have a fair bit of time where they can't trade anything valuable? Might be a bit overcomplicated

Exactly the problem Dan, But these kind of losers generally drop them selves right in it and we can soon pick up the new ID.
Things like the way they type, car they own and location tend to be dead giveaways. The latter two are things they tend to let slip subconsciously. The way they type can be disguised for a little while but they always slip into their style again.

m-dtech has a fairly high post count.
The best idea ive seen so far is putting something below their username such as "do no buy from this person" or "banned seller" etc etc.

As i have said before
Sod putting something 'under' their username!
Just change their username to 'zone rip off merchant' that'd work i suspect
