Hi,

I ordered a sump of him around 2 weeks ago. Made an instant payment via paypal. Still awaiting the sump & it's taking the p*ss!

What's going on?

I told him told him I was in urgent need of the sump hence why I done the immediate transfer.

I have sent him numerous PM's & i've had no response.

Does anyone know this wasteman?

Kind regards.

BIGJO, did you sort out your postal problem in the end? Did you ever get that fog light i sent, and those number plates? Could be the same probelm with your post maybe..?

Cheers

Hello mate,

I got the plates in the end but not the foggy. The Royal Mail was meant to sent me a form which I had to fill in order to retrieve the item (no form has been received-home address).

I gave him my garage's address (HiQ).

There's never been a problem with post there.

I know for a fact he's pissing about as i've had no response from him.

What do I do?

Anyone know him personally?

Regards.

Not insinuating Mdtech is doing you over (ive never had a problem with him) but doesnt look very good does it
Been scammed myself very recently so has D6dph and many others too probably!
Very annoying

I know thanks you did tell me (about refunding half). I've tried calling the Royal Mail but now there's a answer machine message saying they're not operating till further notice. I rung the customer service number, they're also bloody useless.

Thanks again fella, i'll keep you 'posted' lol!

Regards.

What did he tell you my friend?

If he can keep you informed why can't he do the same with me?

Hmm, I'm waiting on an item from him too. It's been just over a week since he said it was posted. We'll see...

edit: scratch that, I'm confusing him with another zoner with a very similar user name :o:

About a week or so ago he told me that it had not left the depot after a couple of weeks of him sending it. He said he was going to go and check it out as it was next to somewhere he was already going.
Since then not heard anything.
He also offered to give me a refund but I am in no rush for the bits and he seems genuine enough so I told him I would wait.(assuming they'd be with me in a few days).
Perhaps hes had a busy week- I have to give him the benefit of the doubt until the end of the week at least.

Finding out that I'm not a one off at the moment is slightly worrying though.

No reason why he shoudnt keep you informed bigjo

Thanks Oakey. I have sourced his mobile number so I will call him tomorrow to see what the crack is. I will update the thread tomorrow.

I'm sure he is genuine, however how he chooses to do business is not how I would do it.

Thanks for the input guys. E30 Zone have a great bunch of people on this forum.

I bought an engine & box & other accessories from Mike and had no bother with him at all, I did make my own courier arrangements though as it had to be shipped on a pallet.

So where is he? I have tried calling him from various numbers but he's not picking up. Seems to be avoiding all unknown numbers.

This seems to be very suspicious.

The number I have is the following if anyone wants to give it a go (not that he'll pick up): edited out.

Dude you can't post his number here no matter what he did or didn't do.

How would you feel if he came on here and posted all the numbers you rang him from and your mates started getting calls!

Not defending what he has alledgedly done to you, but thats not on.

Numbers there if the others wish to call him for bits that are outstanding. Maybe I should have PM'd it to the others but I can't be arsed seeing as he can't either. This precise moment I couldn't give a f*ck!

Thanks.

TBH I am slightly annoyed by the no contact from him as I spoke to him about the negative feedback he has on here allready and he told me that not to worry and that I could safely purchase from him with no issues. He told me he would send me the delivery reference number but he hasnt.

Are there any scottish zoners that are friends of his that could have a word with him for us?

Strange that some people have recieved parts and others havent. The people that have recieved their bits are up north closer to him.

BIGJO - I've edited the phone number out. Regardless of right or wrong we can't let private numbers be posted up. I hope you understand.

Looks like we've been there before? Why has he still been allowed to trade? Surely the Zone is partially to blame?

Shame on you Mike! You're letting the side down with your stupidty! As if anyone's going to buy anything from you ever again!

So how do I go about getting my money back? I'm not waiting 6 months. By then I would've steamed up to your house & caused all sorts of problems! And trust me I can get your address you absolute wasteman!

The zone is not to blame, We are only the meeting place for the seller and buyer to do the deal.

There is a feedback section for people to view, can easily be checked before a deal is struck.

Sorry that you are in this situation.

Thanks fella.

Didn't think i'd need to be doing my homework on everyone that is selling products that interest me.

Maybe I had high expectations of the Zone thinking that I would be safe dealing with traders....nice!

Obviously its the minority that ruin it for the majority!

Is it worth it for what a couple of hundred pounds? I guess some people are really desperate because they cannot earn a honest living....retard!

How is the 'zone partially to blame? It's a free public forum, did you check out his feedback before entering into a financial agreement with him?

We can't be blamed if sellers don't hold up there end of the deal, we provide this forum and services FREE of charge, so please don't accuse us of being at fault. Sorry if this sounds harsh, hopefully he'll come up with the goods.

If he breaks the rules, then he will be banned, that is the deal.

unfortunately you do need to do your homework on every seller you plan to do business with . thats why we have the feedback forum and even that cant be held to be the sites fault if something goes wrong as its an information only section. as far as i know mikey is not an official zone trader .

m-dtech is NOT a zone trader, once this current situation has been dealt with i hope no one else bothers trading with him either. I believe he has good intentions, but just can't carry them off.

Like you say, individuals like him ruin places like this for the majority.

Maybe this could be a good time for a rethink of the layout of the feedback section?
Alphabetical order of names?
Some sort of marker in avatar box maybe?

Hope im not `out of order`

I'm sorry if I said the Zone was partially to blame but I am angry as this has occurred before and f*ck all has been done to stop it from re-occurring! I doubt any team member even said anything about it hence why he's got away with it AGAIN! And you wonder why one might be p*ssed off & say things without thinking? Put yourselves in my shoes :-x

No I didn't check the feedback before trading with him. As far as I know the feedback forum is a new thing. Never noticed it! If I knew about his history I obviously wouldn't have bothered with him would I? After all, there's more than one person on here selling sumps!

Why is there nothing being done to resolve this? Instead there's numerous posts how the Zone is not to blame. Very effective

I feel particularly sorry for fellow Zoners that have lost out more than me.

What are we supposed to be able to do. Getting angry at those that try to run a forum (which we get no pay or thanks for) is not going to help.

I'd like to add that when Steve-e30 was going through a similar problem with Mike, I tried everything I could to help. Steve will back me up on this I'm sure.

At the end of the day, If there is a rogue trader on the site, there is little we can do. I have been caught out on numerous occasions.
