Definately a Bad experience I am afraid

Used every excuse in the book since the middle of june,

Promised to send me the funds various ways, then promises to return them as he cant afford them anymore, then does a bunk!

I have no money and no side skirts as I was daft enough to send before payment (done this plenty of times with decent zoners)

Yeah hes quite new 100 or so posts, mainly from selling bits or adding "nice car" to every thread in the photo gallery. (so a 50 post requirement for buying/selling wouldnt work)

yep he is still posting, still ignoring my PM's, nope still hasnt sent me my money or the skirts. Seems to be requesting a lot of parts, yet claims he cant afford £40 for skirts??

selling parts should be for regular 500+ zoners only.there seems to be a lot of this happening lately

the thing is, if he has done it once, he will most likely do it again....what a t!t.

I assume this got sorted out as he's still looking to buy stuff from zoners......

Nope not sorted, hence the warning, he is posting an awful lot on parts for sale and wanted.

I sent skirts in good faith about a month or more ago.

If I were you where ever he posts something, post after saying hes not to be trusted Childish I know but will jeopardise any of his sales/buys

I think you adding to his posts is valid, all part of the community atmosphere we have on this site, I wouldn't say it's your duty, but not far off. I would hate to be ripped off by thisguy to later find out that another forum user knew he was a toe-ragg all along.

Sorry but this guy is a complete twat. I dont normally get involved in disputes between people i dont know but this guy really does deserve slating.

Blatently ripping off another member is bang out of order in my book. Not only that but he still has the nerve to post here and even try to buy other stuff!

It goes without saying he should be banned but IMO thats not enough. I like the idea of posting in every thread he participates in.

Post his address and number on here and let people decide what he deserves for themselves!

Trade with who you know is reptutable.

It can be a minefield.

However, I have only had one dodgy dealing on the Zone, generally things are good.

If you dont know the seller or the sellers reputation then YOU are taking the risk.

Its a shame but its a fact of life that some peeps are rip off or con merchants, so beware and remember its your gamble.

Stick to known Zoners and you wont go wrong.

Sorry to hear your story Dobbie - theres not a lot we can do but trust me we have our eye on Lee Coupe and also have his IP addie in case he changes his ID.

BTW - that turd he bought on ebay, was from his brother, or himself or something like that, he uses the pauldeacs username too, can't remember if they are the same person or whether this clown just uses both accounts.

I can understand your reluctance - i would be the same but the fact is you have done nothing wrong and this guy deserves whatever he gets.

Like Daz says, this kind of thing is happening too often now and it needs to be stopped.

Post count wont work and will dramatically reduce the number of parts avaliable from honest members.

The only solution i can see is to have a 3rd party on every transaction thats not done face to face involving a new or 'untrusted' member. If money and goods were sent to an indipendent party this kind of thing would stop 100%

Its easy to tell a trusted, regular seller from their feedback and obviously this system would only be on a volentry basis.

OK, it would cost more in postage but IMO its a small price to pay for peace of mind!

This guy should still get banned, he tried it on, probably will again.

I used to share the same flat with him, And we both were on the zone at different time's and sometimes forgot to logout/in etc.

If you check Im now living elsewhere and the I.P's are different

No he arranged a swap outside ebay, and asked me to win it and then not let the transaction go through to avoid ebay fees, He couldnt remove it for some reason (unsure)
