TODD22 - a little disappointing

It all started so well........
I purchased an M30B35 conversion from Todd.
When I first showed interest he was great, responded to all my messages promptly, sent me all the details and pictures I could have wanted.
However....as soon as we did the deal and I paid, I heard nothing from him for 10days!
He finally got back in touch and said courier would be collecting it from him but he'd missed a collection.
When the pallet of bits arrived, I was left disappointed to find a number of items he had said to be included were in fact not there and the 'fritzbits headers' that were advertised with it I don't believe are really fritz items and are infact quite damaged and have been cut in such a way that it would take some real welding and fabrication work to use them at all
Thumbs down, not happy with the transaction

Yeah, I can see where your coming from.
I don't post a huge amount myself, so try not to judge people on post-count. I like to think that on a forum where it's 'enthusiast based' with people of a like mind that you could have a little more faith in people than the open markets of fleabay and scumtree.
Maybe I'm too trusting and naive
Well, lesson learned, I shan't be parting money for items unless I have used the trader previously and have developed the 'trusting relationship' or I physically go and collect with cash and then if anything is not as described I can walk away with my cash still in my wallet or make an offer at a lower price.
Live and learn....

I don't really wish to drag up pictures and start the whole shame game parade etc, not really my style.
Just wanted to post a fair assessment on the feedback forum so others can have future knowledge.
Items missing were:
Radiator
Electric fan
Thermostat
Alternator

Have you spoken to him about the missing parts?

That's a bummer as M30 Alternators are pretty pricey, I always wondered if an M20 alternator would fit

Hopefully he has a reason for the missing parts but it's not looking good.

Well yeah, it certainly doesn't look hopeful. I can't understand why they wouldn't be there, he even sent me a complete revised list confirming everything included and sent pics of it all.
I didn't even haggle on the price so I don't see why he'd have reason to want to leave me short

Ok.
So I have had an email from Todd this afternoon apologising for the missing items. Apparently the pallet was put together in a rush and he forgot them. He says they will be delivered shortly.
Hopefully the mistake was genuine and the rest of the bits should be with me in the next few days or so
I'll update the thread with the final outcome

17days since my last correspondence with Todd22 and have messaged him twice since asking when the items are likely to be delivered......no response!

complete f###*ng liar and timewaster.
If I had 'accidentally' missed a few items off an order and someone chased me up for it I would bloody well deliver them myself at the first given opportunity and feel embarrassed for messing them about. This guy doesn't even care enough to respond.
Disgusting behaviour that I just wouldn't expect from a fellow zoner
