Agreed to sell me a roll cage, phoned me the night before to confirm everything was ok, my GF then was driving there to collect, only to have him cancel a couple of hours before she arrived there!

Avoid.

I explained the situation.
You spoke to me on the monday, i agreed to sell it to you, had no deposit from you. You could have come to get it earlier than thursday.
On thursday morning my best mate brought a touring and begged me for the cadge, he was the best man at my wedding a few months back. I can hardly say no to him.

You could have collected it on monday, tuesday or wednesday and you would have had it. Even offered me a deposit, but you didnt.

Hell i even had someone offer me £500 on tuesday, i said no.

And i contacted you 7 hours before you were due to arrive, now that is plenty of time.

Now grow up you bell.

Seller's prerogative to change their mind, I suppose.

Just beware of making any agreement with this guy though. He has no integrity.

I guess I have learned from this that you cant actually take anyone word these days, which is a shame.

I guess in future I will have to say "Oh, by the way, although you have agreed that I can have it, could I leave a deposit, because I dont actually trust you when you say I can have it"
