I've an engine to deliver to Manchester - it's being fitted on 11/9. I'll therefore be on the road this week and I'll meet you at the usual place. I'll try to be even later than normal though because you need your beauty sleep so badly.

Adding to this..

Picked up my e30 from Edinburgh Tuesday gone, desperatley needed a waterpump fitted to get me home to London. Started a thread asking for help only the day before i flew out and got an early morning text from Boyd saying he can get it done.

And done it he did. Full service inc timing belt, waterpump etc.. even threw in a few bits (inc a radiator) that were fresher and more newer than mine. Made sure the car was tip top for the 400+ mile journey home. All at a good price.

Top top bloke. Highley reccomended, if your local of course, or not...

You're very welcome and to be fair, I have to say, unusually in a feedback thread for me, you're being unduly positive. I charged you for the extra bits and pieces.

I donated the parts required for the councilectomy in the greater good and to allow you to comply with the rule that no E30 is allowed to leave my premises wearing a matt black grille or eyebrows.

In true BMW fashion, they can be put in the boot for refitment later if the owner so desires, but if so refitted, the car and owner are thereafter excluded sine die.

It all so very nearly went pear shaped when your first words on arrival were, "Wow. What a load of scrap." It tooke a while to realise that it was a statement of appreciation rather than derision.

A pleasure to meet you and I'm pleased you got home safely. I've sent the most shagged water pump I've ever seen to "Ripley's Believe It or Not".
