I wondered what ever happened with this, what a coont this guy is!

The mods spoke to him and he promised them he would refund my money.

THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO!!!!!

so much for him being on holiday and sorting this out asap....

He's got more excuses than anything else, and my 650 pounds!

You have your goods now dont you? You were sent Shipping details...tracking numbers...order invoices etc.

My guess is hes telling the truth and was sent a load of crap and not a tech 2 kit

Hate to say it guys he has ripped me off to the tune of £400! I purchased a Racing Dynamics 6 branch from him. To cut a long story short there was a piece missing although I specifically asked can I bolt it straight on, the answer was "yes". He finally supplied the downpipes (off his own back to be fair, although they are rusted through!) but no connector piece. Excuses were "it was there when I took it off, my mate has it, there wasn't a piece" etc etc etc.
He agreed to refund my money as it wasn't fit for purpose, happy days I thought. I even defended him on the zone as up until that point comms were good and I trusted him to be true to his word. Then it was, I will pay you by Monday, then by the weekend, it has to come from my mates account etc. He then placed it on PH and eBay for £550!
Finally he had "Gee" from E30partz drive 200 miles to my place to buy it only to discover it is for an E34 and not an E30! He now won't reply to my phone calls, texts or request through paypal for my cash back. It is a good job Gee was ok about it because I could have got my head kicked in if the buyer went crazy after a long drive.
Be a man Steve or whatever your real name is and pay me my cash, reply to my calls and texts. Let's discuss it like adults and you can have your manifold back and I can have my cash

This guy needs to get his act together

It's not going to happen Rav, he hasn't got the balls to face people. He can't even do the gentlemanly thing and answer emails or texts or better still answer his phone.

This guy is a liar and a CHEAT! I haven't gotten any parts apart from a bag of odd bolts and screws.

Unfortunately E30Sleeper the list of people with issues and requiring money from him seems to be growing. It is a shame because for the sake of a quick buck (£800 out of you and I) he stands to lose more by getting a bad name. Maybe he should follow the example of the likes of Spadge, Rav, Jonny323, Theo and Baz666 to name but a few, all are people you can TRUST and rely upon should there be the odd problem.
I am afraid I have resigned myself to the fact that he is going to keep my money and probably yours too! I am a great believer in what goes around comes around. I saw a similar situation when I owned my Audi RS2, a guy ripped people off on the forum left right and centre however, he crossed the wrong guy one day and he now walks with a limp

Thanks for the vote of confidence Simon, but this place is built on Trusting sellers , and for the sake of making a few £'s he seems happy to rip people off.

I will not stop. This has been going on for months. If I lived in England it would be a different story.

With the support and pressure from everyone here I still have hope to get my money back. What he is doing is an insult to true enthusiasts.

I've been at the track and on cruises where fellow E30's break down. Everyone rushes in to help. That's what we are all here for; to share our passion and to help each other.

Part of that help is getting the parts you need to improve or fix your car. 'stevetaylor' is violating everything that this forum and enthusiasts value most; TRUST

The Moderating team has been trying to contact stevetaylor to get this resolved, but are in the same position as the purchasers. We keep being promised he will be resolving the issues, but nothing forthcoming.

This undoubtedly makes the Zone look bad with the current proceedings, and we are looking seriously into what we can do to help. However, the Zone is only a forum at the end of the day, we get paid by people for the 'privilege' of being allowed to sell to a dedicated E30 audience.
We have no real background on these people, and - I hope - most, on the whole, do a good and honest service to you, our clients. Unfortunately a few seem to sign up, pay their traders fees to make them look more legitimate, and then proceed to let people down.

The moderating team will do what they can, but please understand, a "paid up trader" sign is not an indication that this person is honest, just that they've paid to sell on here.

I really appreciate everything the mods have done on my behalf and everyone else that has been ripped off.

Lets continue the pressure and hopefully we can get our money back.

Good luck guys this really sucks, i thought mr H27 had spoken with stevetaylor and he was in the process of issuing refunds, i assume this never happened

He is an expert at telling ppl what they want to hear, promises are made, then ...... Nothing...

The whole thing then starts over. I've been through this cycle of pressure, then promises of a refund, then nothing, then pressure... etc....

"Mr H27" has indeed been talking to stevetaylor who has been making him the same promises as everyone else unfortunately.

Sorry, but this goes back to having X amount of posts(As other forums) to being able to sell on here.

I know that I would be going down that route.

This has been a consideration Rav.
Then you get spamming and people posting rubbish just to get the post count up...
It's a help, but not the ultimate solution we feel.

Any sensible suggestions will be considered by the team.

Common Goeden, even I believe to get upto 100 post count would take alot of spamming.

As said, it has been talked about at length. We are working on making the Zone a safer place to buy.

(rereading my last post, it looks like I'm saying your suggestion isn't a good one. It is, and it is appreciated. We just feel that this on its own is not enough.)
