I bought a 15" BBS off him, with me arranging the pickup.

Went smoothly, the wheel arrived ok so all's good!

Bought some wheels to Barclay,he arranged courier and the arrived just as he described.

Got a lovely Hartge spoiler from Barclay, good communication and item as described.

first class sale ! many thanks Barclay,

Barclay's a top bloke, sorted me out with a wiring loom.

Just bought some diff flanges which after a little delay arrived, along with a partial refund due to the delay! Can't say fairer than that

I bought a convertible wing from Barlcay and it arrived today. Took a little longer than expected but completely as described, packed extremeley well and I'm very pleased. I will definitely buy from again and can highly recomend.

Barx is an excellent person to do business with.Very fair prices,quick responses to PMs and fast shipment.

Almost 30 days and still no parts and he is not responding to my emails or PMs!! No tracking #, no reply, Will update this with conclusion....

Got your PM that you dont have the tracking number....but you havent answered my question, has the package left the country yet? when should I expect it? Barclay, you are very vague, please be more specific in details and not keep me guessing. its getting quite frustrating at this point.

After another nudge from me

My package arrived yesterday, and I just picked it up today from my business address. I am very pleased with the item, packaging, and the delivery service that Barclay used. Barclay emailed me to follow up to make sure everything turned out good on my end and apologized for the long delay and lack of communication. I do understand that life does throw bumps in the road at times. Overall, I do feel he is a good guy and other members did assure me that he will follow thru. Thank you to everyone here for all the attention in this matter.

4th November 2010 - Paid him for a 320i fuel pump via Bank Transfer.

12th November - Started a FAO thread as no pump had arrived and he wasn't answering his messages.

16th November - He finally replies to the FAO thread, saying he has been overwise engaged and couldn't send it, although in the same message he's trying to sell some wheels.

17th November - He replies to my PM saying I should have it for Thursday.

Thursday - It doesn't arrive so I tell him so via PM and FAO.

23rd November - He replies to FAO saying it was sent the previous wednesday. I ask what courier service he used, and ask if there is a tracking number, no reply.

2nd December - A few days ago he offers a refund which I accept stating I will return the money if the fuel pump materialises (he still wont say who he sent it with).

16th December - No refund, no pump.


Absolute fucking joke.

Gonna be honest here, don't want to be nasty, people seem to think he's an ok guy, but I paid for a sump a month ago, have had several messages saying it is "being collected tomorrow". Still not here a month later, I have had to do a paypal claim to get the money back.

I also know people have problems sometimes, and if it does turn up, will happily stop the dispute or pay again if I have had a refund in the meantime, but communication is not good, and I wouldn't use again.

Then I got answer from Barx325 same day.

On 17th of June I send him money 55 pounds. He asked me to send as a gift, I'm not expected that people can be so false and swindler. So I sent money as a gift (that's was my biggest mistake in this situation). Now I cannot refund money. I don't wanna donate money for anybody cause I'm not in very good financial situation. But of course will not get poor of 55 pounds.

So when he offer me his windows I send him pm, I asked about his paypal. So he gave me an answer.

Sure thing, they're yours, just give me a nod when you want them sending.

Hi, sorry for the delay, please accept my appology I have not had an internet connection. I would never take anyones money without sending items.

If i cannot send I will refund 100%. Firstly i had a problem. The windows I have were not in as good condition as I believed they were so I had to wait until I got the other pair I had, but since then I left my phone at a friends house which has my internet and all contacts. I couldnt even advise zone members to get in touch.

I will get back to you tomorrow morning when I am back home.

I would just ask for a refund, and not accept anything else. If anyone says paypal gift, always pay by normal paypal and add enough to cover the fees!

regarding a purchase from last year, i wouldn't buy again, too much hassle in communication. in the end he didn't want to sell me the item because I was enquiring "too much", but he did give me a refund. so overall nothing lost, except time. hopefully things have changed and he can deal with selling more promptly now.

i've bought parts from Barclay in the past and he was even kind enough to send me some small items foc.
i will continue to deal with him because he's not a bad egg imo .

Bought under dash panel, good comunication and postage arrangements. Will trade again in future
