contacted these lot regarding a car they were breaking on ebay, enquired about a strut brace, price was given and was paid for on 10-october-2009

after a few days, asked them if they posted the item out and they said no payment was recieved, even though i paid to the paypal address they gave me,anyway after a couple more days they got back to me informing me that they have recieved the payment(probably didnt post it and wanted a couple more timewasting days)

anyway after a couple more emails, they informed me it was posted and told me to bare in mind about the POSTAL STRIKES!

i have bought many items from ebay before and after the purcahse with these lot and guess what....have recieved them all EXCEPT the strut brace.

just want to warn anyone who is looking to do business with them.

they can keep the money, and stick there strut brace!

Thankyou Shaz for your constructive criticism once again. I know how you like to talk to people first before leaving negative remarks. As i have stated in my emails to you, pay pal payment was not received in my account due to enhanced paypal security following someone clearing out my pay pal account and me launching a dispute with them for fraud. I had no access to my account and then limited access with enhanced security as they investigated the claim, we all know what it is like to get money out of them at the best of times, try it at the worst.
Your strut brace was sent thru the post office, i have an arrangement with my local office who take the parcels i drop to them and then process them after the shutters go down, saves me queueing time and them obscure parcels in the shop, there is a postal strike, things get delayed, as expalined. Yours is one of unfortunately several parcels that are delayed, everyone else has been happy with the explanations for the delays, i am sorry you are not.
Your strut brace will be with you when the post gets thru, they may have had more to think about than your parcel, i am with them on that i am afraid.
Hope you enjoy it when it gets there!

my problem? you called me a prick! You keyboard warrior. i don't forget things like that in a hurry and the spectacular way you blow your top and retaliate with with spiteful hateful feedback amuses the hell out of me now! To someone who's missed your feedback rants, it may even seem like something serious has happened to warrant it!
alas this time there's a postal strike and you're blaming BBB for it.
before you've bought parts and not checked they were ok. a feedback flaming ensued.
also before you've not left time for buying parts in and left bad feedback when it took a week to get them.

i was being constructive last time and questioning why you were in such a strop and how come there was such a problem, you decided to turn on me like a child spitting a dummy.

do you ever over-run on a job? are you so perfect? Or are you looking to pass the blame for your own delays onto someone else?

I'm a customer of BBB, I buy most things I need from them as I get a great service, good prices and Richard is a top guy to deal with. I had my paypal account locked down earlier this year when I was in the states and it was a total nightmare to get sorted out. I was on the verge of getting negative buyer feedback from ebay as a result and it wasn't a good situation to be in.

I sympathise with both buyer and seller here.

It's positive that the buyer has raised the matter with the seller before posting this feedback.

I suggest that anyone reading this thread examines the nature of the posts from both parties and makes up their own mind.

im not saying that guys at BBB are good or bad!

i know they trade alot on here and bet they got alot of + feedback, but understand where im coming from.

i had to keep emailing them to ask where my item was,if they had stayed in contact then maybe this thread would be non existant.

but then you get idiots like gareth who make me look like the c*nt!

I'm sorry but I can't agree with your first statement above due to the title of the thread.

I'm sure Richard will take the feedback on-board around you having to make the running in terms of the contact.

Shaz, at least they describe their items correctly. "very good condition to BBB does not mean "two f*cked tyres and needs a full refurb"

You see mate, I dont forget things like that (people wasting two hours of my time and fuel and basically lying about the condition of something) easily either.

I never bitch anyone about the speed of delivery as I cant talk, but i do describe stuff properly.

People all have stuff to do mate and sometimes it isnt their fault when stuff doesnt get to you in 3 minutes. Bare it in mind yea.

lol, scott you make me laugh mate.

as i told you about 2 years ago!

no one forced you to buy the wheels when you came down, they were definately not described as mint so the s*it thats coming out of more mouth is blantantly wrong!

if you got a problem or had a problem with me,then please use the forum correctly as i have done in the feedback section.

oh by the way if you still have a problem with me then i suggest you come and see me at a next meet.

This shite makes me laugh
Silly threats over the internet dont impress anyone
Bet the courthouse is warming as we speak
We have a postal strike ffs and "some" stuff is being delayed in different areas in the uk
Ill put some input in now...
Alan with the 318is i put onto bbb
The only time i we have dealt with bbb we were supplied some wrong parts and stuff was in the post and took ages to arrive
At one point i emailed admin on here as they have such a good trader rating on here to see wtf was going on as it was the point of getting in the car and collecting our money back
We understood the guys were very busy and a few cock ups with his brother so to speak
Few phone calls and all was sorted eventually
In the end they took the car in and finished it for us
They didnt have to do this !
But they offered and did a bloody good job so couldnt knock it
They nearly ended up with a negative off us but we were patient and gave the guys the benfit of the doubt and they came through
In the end we found out it was a faulty vanos unit on a engine we has supplied ... Oops
At the end of the day not everyone posts stuff straight away
I dont think enough time has been left to justify a negative
Shaz we took ages to get through on the phone as nobody ever answers so we had to leave messages
The problem with someone who has such a good trader rating on here is when something goes wrong nobody believes the trader is at fault , Correct ?
They f-ed up with us and came good , They did more than enough to sort the problem out
Just my say , Shaz and scott keep it off he forum , Get in your cars and ......

steve i understand these sort of things happen,i too sell a few bits on here and ebay and yes i sometimes post things late but i keep in communication with the buyer just so that the buyer knows what is happening.

i understand BBB are very busy people but they should of kept in contact rather than me chasing them.

Agree mate , As mentioned in my previous post we had to keep ringing them with no answer and leave messages
How they earn any money with nobody answering the phone is beyond me but they do and people wil go back to them again
They earn good money off of members on the zone so cant see them trying to sting someone for a small ammount as thet would affect there business
I suppose they dropped the stuff at the post office and its in there hands then maybe ?
Only bbb can answer that dude

Really not intetrested in the debate, but Zone gold it could be :) But when ever I send stuff I ALWAYS send recorded with a tracker number, that way there is proof for the seller and buyer alike

Only a fool would send anything to anybody that doesn't require a signature!

Shaz check the date on the post mark on any parcel and it will tell you exactly when the post office received it from the seller. That way you can work out for yourself who is at fault.

Take a chill pill people its not life or death :?

Shaz, You were warned by Ant on a previous thread not to threaten others on here. It is grounds for an immediate ban so count your self lucky I'm giving you 7 days ban instead. Any more of this attitude and you will be permenantly banned.

I've bought stuff from Richard too in the past, and have to say that he does go out of his way to help.
My diff was delivered b4 I had paid him as I was in need of it urgent.
On agreement with the boys, he did send it out and helped me out of the shit.
So I have nothing but pos feedback for them.

Trembling in my boots... spitting your dummy on a forum like this and throwing threats and insults around is classic keybouard warrior. unless of course you're just as abnoxious in person?
So if this is for your own car, why the desperate rush and lack of understanding when the postal service is at a standstill and your payment couldn't be seen in their paypal account?
I cetainly wouldn't take your word for it that you'd paid and i assume they wouldn't either.

I think he can view the zone at will, but not reply.

Personally, this has not affected my view of BBB, I have the occasional browse of their sales and would buy from there.

seriously i think this kind of chat should be done in pm's or over the phone as its no one elses problem but the buyer and seller and imo its far too soon to have a -feedback opened as the seller and buyer are still in dispute or confusion, had it been clear and final that the guy had been ripped off or item was damaged, feedback is then required.

possibly because my comments were obviously tongue in cheek at shaz's self inflicted predicament? i added a smiley to reinforce that point.
i think my level of sarcasm is obvious to most after so long.
or maybe its because im an untouchable zone legend? who knows? winkeye

one thing for sure is ive never had a ban or warning in my 4+ years ive been here for aggressive or abusive bahaviour or in fact for any other reason.

To answer the ban question, Fuzzy is a known wind-up merchant and as such the team takes 99% of what he says with a pinch of salt.

Shaz has been previously warned about his aggressive attitude so the ban was the next step. It's only a week anyway.

its not just his business anymore once he's decided to start a thread on the internet about it.
theres no point getting upset about disagreeable comments if your the one that started it all.
