sent money 3 weeks ago to snoops and i have not recieved the mtech2 steering wheel . has not replied to my pms . i have opened a dispute via paypal for my refund.

still no communication what so ever !!

he stiched me up before, i know of others too, he should be banned from selling

maybe you should check their feedback first. you should have had mine. i had a really nice one here for you but you kept on and on trying to "knock me down", with your hard luck stories, even when i clearly said "absolute lowest", that it became a p-take! good luck anyway

3 weeks is taking the piss I get my tools shipped over from Canada in 48hrs

wherever possible when buying anything I drive over inspect and pay cash...the good old fashioned way

The first thing i would do if i had the power on here would be to block people from selling on here until matters like this are sorted. This is a prime example as the fella has a rusty old turd for sale right now in the cars for sale section. The admin should remove his text and pictures from the original post and ask that he deals with this first in plain view of any potential purchaser on that thread!

There are too many people still actively buying and selling stuff on here that regulaly have threads like this started about them and all we ever hear as an explanation is sob storys and other bull about them being busy at work etc....

If you havn't got the time to send something then don't take the punters money it really is as simple as that

spadge is totally correct. now if i ever do business on here i would have to take extra precautions i.e. either have to ask other people about the seller or post threads up if the seller is geniune trustworthy or not . i should be able to trust all the members here on this forum especially doing business.

Id also introduce a minimum post count to sell items also

Dont think post count has anything to do with it tbh..

I was stung by someone with a low post count and it happens on here and other sites and it needs to be tightened up imo
People register to rip people off , With 100 plus posts they have contributed to the site enableing them to sell maybe ??
I personally wont buy off anyone with no posts
Will also stop the crap ads with no pics and lack of detail with people thinking its the auto trader and wasting the mods time forever locking threads and making the section look a mess .

Suprised snoops is still allowed to sell and sting someone again , With a few un-resolved issues

Being honest when you deal with people you are never going to meet in person is a good way, i think you still need a market of parts but sadly something needs to be done to stop this from happening, and making sure that these person's are not given the chance to shpil their crap and dishonesty and in genral not givin a dam.

Agree with Steve-E30,s comment re a minimum number of posts. Not infalible i know, but you sort of get a feel
for the person posting after a while. Would also help if the people that get stung actually record it in feedback.
Seems as if Snoops has got a couple of black marks against him, before k13 posted.

he's online at the min there should be a function to block use of the zone until problems are sorted

How does post count come into it?! Snoops has nearly 3000.. Munky had a shed load also..

If they have a low post count then collect, or don't buy

Post counts do not solve anything, Look at some of the whores we have on here.

It's pretty easy to rack up 100 posts in a month, then start scamming.

I also had a negative feedback thread that listed those with bad feedback, but that has vanished? :S I'll try to find it if not do another.
Unfortunately we can only do so much to protect the buyer, the buyer needs to take their own precautions too.

500+ posts before selling should give everyone a decent idea of the sort of person they are dealing with.

snoops sounds like a genuine guy who loves e30s and has been a member for a while, why is he ripping people off and giving himself a bad name on the zone

I think that the mods are already doing a great job but there will always be ways for scammers to scam people of they really want to. All the mods can do is try and prevent it from happening as much as possible imo

theres not really much the modss can do after someones been ripped off, there might be 2 totally different sides to the story blaming each other then how do they know whos lying?
after someones lost their money its not like the mods can get it back.
they can ban someone but then the communications lost for the folk trying to get deals sorted.
and banned members just rejoin with another name.
members can help themselves by using the feedback section as its intended for every transaction .

But what if people don't whore posts but have stuff that they need to shift. For example, i havent even reached 500 posts yet because i dont always post alot but i may have a set of bbs's up for sale soon.
