Mans best friend, my arse

Does anyone have any tips for removing dog hairs from car seats? The previous retarded owner of my car let her dog use the back seat, and consequently it's hairier than Fatima Whitbread's testicles.
I've tried hoovering it, but it's not working too well so far. I've also tried the 'mummify your hand in sticky tape' method, which looks like it will work, but will take about a week.
Thanks,

You can get a Meguiars pet hair brush from Halfords.

wrap sellotape around your hand, you`ll use tonnes of it but it does the trick, removes cat hair from the sofa and bottoms of the curtains anyway......

Try use selotape or better parcel tape (the brown stuff) and 'drag' it around in DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, the hairs will be 'inserted in every direction imaginable and you need to pull them out in the opposite direction they went in!
Hope that helps - Nick

Get your rubber gloves on and give it all a good rub, As Nick says use different directions.

What, the dog or the seats? Aren't there laws against that kind of thing?
I've got it sorted now, thanks chaps. Ended up using loads and loads of parcel tape. Took hours, and made me feel bloody awful for a couple of days afterwards with an allergic reaction - I always knew I was allergic to cats, so I should have guessed that exposure to 34kgs of dog hair would so the same thing.
Thanks all for the advice.

At least the car will be lighter / quicker.
