i`ve done a search but cant find exactly what i`m lookin for
whats the best product out there to make my shadowline nice and black again and stay that way for more than 3 days?
the ones i`ve used on previous motors are great when applied but tend to wear off far too quickly for my liking and some attract dust like mad!
cheers in advance

okay i think i`ve sussed it
i never realised Meguires did a trim detailer
my local stockist of Meguires never had any but they had pretty much the whole rest of the line up.When i asked if they had any stuff for the job they gave me something i`d tried previously(or at least the 15yo school kid did, mind you he did want me to buy Auto-glym

)
any remarks on this stuff?

best results i have had for shadowline is to treat it like painted surface
ie use a mild abrasive paint cleaner to remove dead oxidised paint and contamination and then use a small amount of wax/sealant to apply protection
due to its matt finish this will give you a nice black factory finish appearence
trim detailers are ok for quick fix on this area but are either very very sticky and attract shite or they once rained on run down painted panels and look awful and dull trim is still there underneath

does the finish last well?I suppose it lasts as good as the products that are used
thats not so bad then

i thought i was going to have to lash out more cash!!

its as durable as products used
its fiddly but u will only have to remove excess polish etc from paint and glass which is easy
but using slimy crap means getting it off paint glass etc which is a nightmare

I work in a Body Shop.... We use a prouduct by Wurth (its a black dye) ive sprayed cars and over run with a buffer on to trim etc leaving a white mark... Used Wurth stuff and had the car come back months later still as black as when it left.... Hope that helps? I dont know if you can buy it retail but any motor trader should be able to get it?
