i have decided to basically go for making my sport look like it just came out of a showroom, but hopefully without getting anything resprayed. there is a few stone chips on the kit of the car, how should i go about removing these? i want my whole car completley alpine white and no chips in sight, right enough you cant see them unless you bend down and take a look at the kit.

trick from a valeter. get ur touch up paint and pour a little into a receptacle of some sort, an old spray can lid is good. then get a cocktail stick, or a ball point pen or something similar and dab the pointy end into the stonechip. u will be able to build up the layer of paint bit by bit and yaaaay no awful brush marks. somebody pat me on the back please. ive used this technique for years and it fools customers at main dealers, even sales men cant see it once its done. if u can, use a hairdryer to warm the panel b4 u do the paint. after a while u will be able to polish the panel without fear of the repair being undone. unless u get too close with a jetwash!

good point, i would add that the use of a magnfiying glass realy dose help see what you are doing, even with 20/20 eye sight

the stem off a leaf is ideal for getting the paint in to small chips etc
my old neighbour was a sprayer and iv seen him do this a few times
always made it look so easy

bit time consuming but he was very good at hiding the old stone chips

I always use a paper aeroplane........yes it sounds daft but the "nose part" is perfect and the folds hold paint so you get a nice amount in the chip.
