So a common problem I’m sure, but it always seems to rain after I’ve done an extensive wash and wax. It always leaves pools of water and then water spots. Or another example is I go out in the rain, pop her back in the garage and the next day there are a ton. I don’t want to have to keep cleaning it everytime it rains.

Then I came across Meguiars Water less wash! Has anyone used it? Looks ideal for a quick water spot removal after it’s been raining!

Using Dodo Juice caranuba wax just in case anyone wondering.

Any detailing spray will be fine for removing the water spots - I'd always use one as part of the drying routine. The waterless wash is essentially just a detailing spray -might be cheaper to buy a meguiars claybar kit - have found it in halfords for cheaper than just the detailing pray on occasion.

No - the clay bar needs a lot of lubrication. You won't use it too often, its just that it comes with a decent detailer spray for £21 -

You shouldn't need the waterless wash as well as the detailing spray - they're both essentially the same thing. Looks like Halfords are doing buy 1 get one half price on Autoglym stuff as well though - so you might save a good bit by getting their detailing spray instead. You basically just need to use a detailing spray as part of your drying process to get rid of the water spots. Any subsequent water spots can be cleared up with any detailing spray as well.

You need to wax the car properly so shit don't stick, gosh do I miss Gavla as he did a fantastic job on my cars......

Water spotting only usually occurs if the sun pops out when the car is wet causing a slight acid etch to form from the droplets. Quick detailer afte you've dried the car or as you dry it will help but as Satan said, a good wax layer will help a lot.

Meguiars Ceramic Hybrid Wax after washing is also a great way of getting rid of water spots as well as adding a protective layer, I use it once a month or just before a show. Can get expensive if used to often.
