Tyre shine applicators shaped sponge applicators that allow very precise application of your favourite product.Note these are made of 2 types of sponge.the handle part is a non absorbant type which is stiff and application surface is absorbant.this prevents you getting covered in the stuff and not wasting product .Ialso use one of these to apply things like plastic trim and rubber products like 303 protectorant as you can be very precise without covering paintwork when doing door trims and bumpers, grills etc
2 applicators Ԛ£5 (limited Supply!!!!)

Image

Porter cable orbital pad sets 3 pads of the highest quality in 3 different grades a yellow coarse pad for heavy swirl removal,a white pad for polishing and removing light swirls and marring and finally a non abrasive pad for application of polish/wax 3 pads Ԛ£29

Microfibre wash/buffing mitt this mitt is only just been made available and i have been testing it for a month.A new type of pile that is the softest i have ever seen.very very efeective as a wash mitt and amazing at removing hazed polish/wax from panels.quality of this is amazing.
thumb has been removed so you can use both sides ie two washing removing surfaces with a quick spin.
Ԛ£9.50

High performance microfibre towel
It is a "Chennile MicroFiber Towel" with over TWICE the fibers per square
inch (a whopping 4,000,000), it has an extremely tight weave, greater
density (you can feel the weight)extremely durable and the most advanced
design available, over 2x the amount of the fibers are split (
a machine was specially set up and designed for this towel..., a lot of R&D went
into this:)
It is designed for very delicate finishes, show cars, collectors and other
valuables that need and deserve the Very Best(you will not feel the "snags"
on your fingers like conventional MicroFiber)as it is not only very gentle
and soft, but also very high performance, removing stubborn polishes and
waxes without having to use as much pressure to clean, which translates into
less chance of any marring, swirls, scratches, etc. Ԛ£6
Image

as always none of these will mark your paint in any way and there are no labels attatched to cause scratches.

also notice that the newer towels are moving towards lighter colours so if you were to pick up any debris under the towel you would see it a lot easier and therefore potentially prevent damage sooner

truly the best out there.

ok
the plush is a zaino approved towel that is very very soft and has heavy pile and removes polish very very well

the high performance towel is a brand new weave that has had to have a special machine made for manufacture
its aimed at the total perfectionist /show car
very short pile but millions of them and removes product having to use less pressure on paint suface

both work very very well
they are the best out there
both washable both will not mark paint

Jon boy i might take 3 of them towels for taking the polish off please. I've been using normal soft towels up till now and i used one of the one's i bough off you and was amazed at the difference. Normally with a normal towel, the surface of the car was left with smudges that i had to take off with some wuick detailer, but with your towel, it was nice and shiney winkeye

you have hit the nail on the head there ben

not all microfibre is equal and my stuff is designed with the optimum amount of fibres to remove far more efficiently and with less pressure

pm me what you want and ill get it to you

Right

i tried one of the new cloths that John has started getting (white ones pictured above) and compared it to the plush ones that he supplied with the group buy.

what can i say...i'm impressed

very smooth and next to no drag on the paintwork compared to the plush cloth. not sure about how well absorbant they are, and how quickly they will load up with product before they become less effective (untill washed that is)

i only tried it with detailing spray (as its fooking cold today and it was coming in dark) and it worked a treat.

in saying this the plush ones are very very good and i still love em

i wouldn't go out and replace all my plush ones with it but i would be tempted to buy these in the future if available.

i want to see what they are like for removing polish etc but they seem to be good

get them snapped up people, before i get impulsive again

glad you liked it chris

they are to run along side the plush
they were developed to allow the minimum of pressure to be applied to remove product

very strange looking weave but very very effective
they were developed for show cars and very dark colours as these will show the smallest marks up

you can tell by the weight how dense the cloth is

i like them a lot tho i will still use both
the new ones are very good on removing product from the polished lips of my wheels as that surface is the hardest to keep mirror like and without any marks

Is the new high performance microfibre towel for the whole car or more detailed work?

Posted: Wed Apr 05, 2006 6:03 pm
by c76jon
its for whole car
its a new weave that is very very dense and thus removes product with less pressure
