I seem to remember a post about something similar, just looking to get some new gear ready to try out before the car comes out of hibernation, anybody used these? -

Anything better I should be looking at?
Thanks

This

It's from a reputable seller and it's listed as a fine grade which will be the safest for your paint

That's interesting, I didn't know these existed. Are they genuinely a replacement for claying?

Cheers Kos, im about to team it up with some Dodo juice lube, sound good? Also found a nice foam lance, looks like a bit of a buffty package coming together
Ive just bought some blackhole off the bay, can you give me some tips on the best prep before I lamp it on?

It's clay on a cloth or mitt
I've been given a few by my autosmart rep to try out. I really should crack on and use it

No I would not say it is a direct replacement...a clay bar used properly still does a better job in my opinion and you can see what is coming off the car...
However they do work extremely well. I prefer the mitt to the cloth and have ended up using the farecla G3 clay mitt on most of the cars I do.

Does the mitt need a special lube?

No, just ensure that you keep the area you are working on as wet as possible...I use it with Bilt Hamber Auto Wash.
