Hi can anybody help me with which white my 1987 318i is?

I thought it was Alpine White but somebody told me thats 91> colour...??

Any Ideas? Cheers Matt.

there are 2 alpine whites...

Alpine White I
Alpine White II

no idea which year is what.

Have you tried looking on the passenger side front suspension turret under the bonnet, there should be a label with the paint code name on it.

brilliant red and lazer blue.

both look stunning too especailly the blue, very sutble, looks almost black form a sitance, but a deep midnight metallic when the sun is on it......very cool indeed

I think Alpine White 2 only came on facelift cars?

82 - 85, Alpine White I (paint code 146)
85 - 87, (chrome bumper model) Alpine White II (paint code 218)
88 - 90, (plastic bumper model) Alpine White I
90 onwards, Alpine White II

The paint code label on my 94 Touring states Alpineweiss III with code 300/01.

Waaaah? This is too confusing - just bought an '88 Alpine White 320i - does that mean its Alpine uno, dos, or tres? Help me...................................parp.

It's no.2 - I checked the label in the engine bay, but mine is a second-half 1988 which should be no.1 according to the above no?. (Surely no.2 should be brown...?)
