cloth seat cleaning

can anyone recommend a cleaner for my is seats? all the stuff I have used in the past have been rubbish

Auto Glym interior shampoo works well for me.
However, if they are really grubby, then you will have to remove the seats, dismantle, and wash with detergent. Only way, and dont expect the results to be "as-new", they will be "just-cleaned".

I was thinking about steam cleaning them maybe even trying the old vax wet and dry carpet cleaner. used one once and couldn't believe the dirt that appeared in the water bucket

Pacerpete recommended it to me he said it removes all traces of DNA from the inside of the car.
Above anyone else, he should know...

i find foaming cleaner spray are good - it lifts all the dirt up and out, section by section with that and a hard brush and damp cloth and bowl of water to remove the dirt as it lists , 1st do that , then a fabric cleaning spray, the best stuff i ever used was 1 something like 1m cant remember what its called now, its "1, and a letter" either before or after
