E30 Zone

Does anyone know if the trim around the windows is chrome or polished aluminium?

All my trim has scratches and I am wondering if I can just sand it and polish it.

i have a shadowline car at the moment but from what i remember of previous cars is that trim is actually shiny chrome looking plastic. there will no doubt be someone who will have some good nick trim on here you can buy. put up a want ad.

Hi there. Thanks for your reply. That's another idea, to paint it black. But I want to see what a clean set of shiny bits looks like first.

I just checked my car and it does look and feel like polished aluminium.

Can anyone else shed some light on this?

Is it chrome or polished aluminium?
