Coddled to living on the street

I got into detailing in a mild way. Car was garaged and hardly used. Give it a wash, clay (once a year) and polish and stick it in the garage and it will look good for weeks.
Pull it out, treat the external plastics, clean the glass. Following week hoover, treat interior plastics. few weeks later, clean and protect wheels with a little tyre dresssing ad infinitum. Going to shows was just a case of arriving and giving her a squert with a quick detailing spray and she looked good to the casual observer.
Now she is no longer in a garage and living on the street, every time I drive to a supermarket I get the guys asking me if I would like my car washed
I know it will be different in the summer when its warmer and I have more time to spend on her but its gutting to get into and driveing a dirty car.
