Thinking whether there is a process of refurbing the rubbers on the bumpers on a pre face lift models?

The chrome bumper mouldings?

If you've just got marks and scratches on them, Ive sucessfully used wet n'dry to bring about a better look.

Use a coarse grade, like 100-200 to take out any scuffs, then use a finer grade like 600+ over the entire bumper to bring about and even sheen to the whole bumper.

The finer the grade, the shinier it is finished.

Thanks z3

I assume the same method can be applied to the Side trims?

The shadow line trims around the windows I am thinking of painting in satin black....?

Not tried the side trims. If you've got a spare piece of trim, try it first, see how it matches?

Same for the bright trim, try rubbing it down with wet n'dry before you paint with satin black , to give the paint a key so it doesn't chip so easy.

Good luck!
