I was wondering if anybody has any tips on keeping the rubber part of a tech 1 spoiler in good condition and keeping it protected (especially in the winter)?

i always use AG Bumper care on rubber and vinyl exterior trim. Good for the money, however you can normally always find something that lasts a bit longer but at higher price.

ag vinyl and bumper care.. superb on rubber, and all external trimm, and the best product ive found yet on interior too, dash, vinly coor cards, console, sport backs, sport head lining

spray it everywhere, let it dry for 5-10 mins, and buff with a clean microfibre cloth, comes up super

whist where here...

my tech 1 rubber, is a bit"rough" sort of feeling on an area, slight damage or perishing, like its been rubbed on somthing a bit abroasive/rough, anything can be done to smoothen it off or revamp it as such ?

Not really, not with rubber, could try sanding it down but it may cause more harm than good.

However most importantly, as with any protection / car product, follow the 1st line of any set of instructions, which will say: Clean thoroughly before applying!

Otherwise the grime will just get buried and stay there..
