One of the best things I know for removing nicotine stains is Sugar Soap. It's available in the UK for cleaning old paintwork prior to re-painting.

The thing is to get the stuff off well after using it.

upholstry foam cleaner and a still brush. Will need some elbow grease and a couple of attempts but it should come off, then just a wipe over with you usual interior detail spray and you should be sorted.
I would give the sugar soap a try first as sugar soap is so cheap. Simoniz foaming upholstry cleaner is pretty good and not expensive either.

if its that bad the upholstery must have soaked some up too.... i used one of those carpet cleaning machines with an upholstery attachment and it brought the whole car up like new....you would be amazed how much dirt came out of this car

luckily i have a vax cleaner (one of the original bright orange ones) but inside the car is actually pretty clean, i was supprised. Maybe give it a clean in the summer when it will dry that little bit quicker.

Hi
If you have got a steam cleaner with the attatchments put a micro fibre cloth on, put some flash multi purpose (a very small amount) in the steam cleaner when filling with water
