My wife kindly reversed into my E30 denting the front bumper. I managed to get a semi Ok one from a local wrecker($150.00). Between my original bumper and the one from the wrecker I have made one decent bumper. The only thing is that some of the plastics are a bit grey from sunlight exposure. I thought about cleaning them up with armorol, however is there a paint that I can use on the bumper plastics? One that won't crack and peel after a week.

you need to get a decent PLASTIC PRIMER this is the key to stop the cracking and peeling of the paint and also good prep work

make sure the bumber is clean then key it up with some sand paper then clean again

its all in the prep work towards having a long lasting finish

I'd try some Autoglym bumper gel, or meguiers trim detailer first - they work pretty well at bringing the life back to dull plastic trim.
