Cleaning your cabrio hood...

Wanted to give the car a once over today and was just about to get out the hoover to remove the build up of rubbish on the hood (prior to applying Autoglym roof cleaner/protector)...

...however just had the idea of using a lint brush

Really works and much less bother than getting out the hoover. Takes off all the fluff and debris and preps the surface nicely for any products you'd want to use.

If you have a cabrio, give it a go imo. :)

I just use a damp cloth and wipe it, making sure NOT against the grain. Gets all the fluff and crap off.

Nice tip anyway...

Hoods attract alot of crap outside.

If you use a water repellant then you could easily hose off the crap too aftwerwards.

I guess you'll need bucket of the stuff though.
