just picked up a 325 touring and the headlining is sagging a bit at the back. thinking about pulling it out and gluing some fresh fabric on. what would be best fabric to use? and where could you get it from?

Im not sure what the answer is to that problem! Ive had the same problem on a touring a few years back and i think from the guys that have tried it on the zone there is no real quick effective fix apart from a new lining what i did was to get some spray glue put very smal holes on the edges of the lining and using one of those tops and straws you get with WD40 spray the glue inside the headlining, wait for it to dry a little and then from the inside out stick it down. :D

Welcome to the zone tweeks.

There are several threads about this. I've glued mine back several times but it doesn't work as the foam backing is now rotting and the cloth will fall inevitably.

Here's a good thread

There's a thread I did (search with my username) about gluing headlining but my attempts were futile...

This company was recommended to me by dips who has recovered a few headlinings

lol, I just checked out that website, I may go for a snake skin headlining.

Re-gluing doesnt work, it either pulls away again shortly after you've done it or it actually stains the headlining material and looks worse than a saggy one.

Im in the same boat, saggy touring headlining and it'll have to come out soon before I look like an "undercover" driver.

Mine's FUBAR and held up with pins at the moment so my passengers don't have to hold it up with their heads. I might see if I can take it out and replace it with a hard vinyl or similar. Or lino! :o
