Hello all,

A previous owner of my 1987 325i obviously did not like the chrome read bumper and has painted over it. Now the paint has started to flake off and looks awful. Any suggesting on what to use to remove the paint but not damage the chrome?

Start with a pressure washer if its flaking to see what you can remove!

I am looking for a similar answer after my mechanic got paint (some sort of black stuff that he painted over where the valance had been cut to stop it rusting out) on my stainless exhaust! This has now baked hard and wont scratch off with a finger nail! Anyone any ideas!
