Any tips on removing the heavy duty glue left on my alloys from previous balancing weights that were stuck on my bbs originals.I don't want to F*** them up.

dont use t-cut if you dont wanna to ruin them, use white spirt or meths to remove the residue.

not meths, it couldnt get the bugs off your windscreen!! i work at a vw audi specialist we have a pot of this stuff that gets the old double sided sticky stuff off a treat when we fit tyres. who fitted ur jehramias? why didnt they do it? no idea what this stuff is called tho, ill have a look at it and post it up tomoz. we are also required to chemically clean the back and front of all wheels we take off any car.... customers seem to approve..... i know our valeter loves it!!

No need for anything fancy here, get some petrol on it, this is what I use to clean the inside of alloys before sticking the weights on 8)

wd40 or tar/insect remover

t-cut is also fine for buffing up the paint after the bulk of the residue is off, esp if theres any discolouration of the paint. wheel paint is tough stuff, so youre not likely to damage it with a spot of t-cut on a cloth
