Zaino- calling Jon
Moderator: martauto
jon- i'm looking to buy the zaino stuff and was trying to put together a package. this is what i was thinking of:
Z2 pro- polish
Zpc- swirl mark remover
Z8- finale spray
Z7- car wash
what do you think.. is this good for starters. do you think its worth gettin the Zpc as i dont have a porter cable, or can you use it without one. i will be gettin one in the future though. i have all the microfibre and clay bar.
oh and what about the Z5.. is it worth using that instead of the Zpc.
and where is cheapest place to get porter cable from and transformer and pads.
Cheers

the z5 is non abrasive and only tries to hide the swirls and can be used instead of the z2
however, the zpc IS abrasive and it will remove the swirls.
i would advise getting the z1 polish lock too, it acts like a primer for the polish, for the little bit of extra effort it makes a big diference

hi nav
ok this is what id recommend
z1 polish lok this is a must as it makes z2pro adhere to clean paint and does make a big difference to finish(or zfx but that is expnsive)
z2 pro
zpc will work by hand no problem and as chris says it is abrasive
z7 carwash
z8 finale spray (and or z16 but z8 is incredible)
this i would say is the minimum list of what you want
once you have removed old products from paint and applied the first lot of z1/z2 its just z2 layered from there and z8 inbetween coats
porter cable is worth the money without doubt and when you take plunge you will see why
transformers chris can advise on as i knoe he is/has sorted one
within 10 days i will have top quality porter pads and i am about to sort some backing plates
also have tyre shine applicators on there way and microfibre glass towels(which are tight weave so it leaves glass smear free and no lint)
i have 2 other products coming which i am going to test myself and ill reveal all once i have

the pad that comes with porter is not to be used on paint
you then purchase a velcro flexi plate and the proper pads just attatch and rip off dead easy
the pads are in a pack of 3
1 non abrasive pad for polish application
2 abrasive pads .these are different grades of abrasiveness depending on marjks that need to be removed

Jon what part of the Country are you based mate? I was thinking when the sun starts to comes out, i could take a little drive to you and you can show me how to use the box full of Zaino i have please. I'll do all the work and you can just tell me what to do. Shouldn't think it will be that hard cause my paint is still quiet new

i think it is about 450 watts, although i could be wrong, i'll have a look later mate.
i think looking for transformers they'll be rated in kVa, have a look on google to determine what kVa is in relation to watts
