UPDATE:

got sick of driving 300 miles at a time trying not to indicate for fear of getting pulled by the feds with the RED indicators!!

thanks to the people commenting on this thread a quick 0.99p fix has helped. Cheers guys 8)

99p apple green nail varnish from ASDA's own range (other nail varnish is available winkeye ) two coats of this on the clear bulbs has had a dramatic effect on the colour.

i.e. its now orange!!! - yipeee :P

and yes i did feel a bit of a prick buying nail varnish!!

Looks very nice!

Can't quite get my head around what happens to the Reversing lights though, Do they not show at all, or are they just an odd colour?

Just to add to the mix - did mine with the smoked tint, same problem and had to laquer.

Think the red looks really good, but I was trying to tie the tail lights in with the side repeaters and front indicators

Looks good, I used the same stuff on my current and previous E30. First time I used it I did it in the house and used a hair dryer to dry them and they turned out very shiney and smooth. This time, not so good but does the job 8)
