How it held on? I want to see what it would be like de-badged but will it leave holes? Or are they just stuck on?

Just stuck on, usually double sided sticky foam.

take it off with a credit card or a strong thread.

yup but you'll need to clean the area with elbow grease and white spirit ( or similar ) to get all the glue traces off!

I would use a hairdryer to ease off the badge along with a strong piece of thread.

Does anyone know the correct position of the "325" and "i" badge, mine has been painted at some point and the "i" badge looks too far away from the "325"??

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a question of a similar nature. I wish to remove an M/// badge on the back of my E30 and then replace it with a 325i badge, but I'm worried there will be a noticeable mark left by either paint damage or discolouration after the M/// badge is removed.

Anyone removed on eof these with good results?

Cheers

I removed my badge off my car after it had been on it for 8 years and didn't have any problems with paint discolouration or anything. I did however, use a professional cutting agent and then gave it a good polish afterwards.

Thanks for the advice lizzie. I take it you used a credit card or strong wire to remove it too?

Cheers
