Ladies and gentleman I sprayed a part of my van the other night and it's come out sound but I left the masking tape on over night. It rained so the residue from the tape is left on the bodywork after taking the masking tape off. Whats the best way to take this residue off the bodywork without damaging the bodywork?
Cheers Sean.

Even friction of rubbing your bare hand over it would get it off.

For future reference- anything citrus based will remove "sticky stuff" well without the possibility of any damage. Even JiF lemon works well :D

Be careful with that stuff 8O

After watching the Youtube video of the dent removal with the compressed air and heat gun me and a mate thought we'd try it on his girlfriends mini. Except all we could find was lynx deodorant. The car was a turd so we used it anyway. :)
Almost immediately it dissolved the paintwork 8O

So although I dont doubt it worked for you BMshed I feel that I should state DO NOT SPRAY LYNX ONTO CAR PAINTWORK.
