OK guys, theoretical question:

If I wanted to paint the centres of some Alloy wheels, how would I go about it?

Is it the same as any other metal surface? I.e. clean, rub down, paint, cut back, polish?

yeah, why not, as long as the material is preped propperly and the paint/medium being applied can perform said task, then its green light baby!

I agree just to be sure though get hold of some etch primer and use that first, alloys are notoriously hard to get paint to stick to properly and this will help.

Not sure yet - hence the "theoretical" bit - will be black with polished rims though!

The best way to do it is to have them powdercoated.
Be sure to mask the parts you want to keep polished.
