evening looking to see if anyone has fitted one otf these before and if so

yeah they are good! there expensive but i can get em cheap
unfortunately for me only
They look good in the dark and wire up simply

Do they literally just plug straight into the loom somewhere?

I couldn't find the connector, so when I replaced the gaitor, I had to chop/re-connect the wires

yeah they can plug striagh in i think? failing that re do the terminals so they are bullet connecters and run it to the cigarette lighter ring that illuminates.
