Okay, I took the plunge and got some of the long discussed crystal/red lights for my car.
Opinions Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be nice......

I think they definitely suit a red car a lot more than darker colours
I'm not 100% sure yet, I could be swayed either way.

I quite like them, I've seen them on the bay for around Ԛ£100 IIRC.
Night time pics are a must!

Yeah I know the pics aren't great, it was quite late when I got home from work and by the time I had fitted them, it was raining and getting dark
I'll get some better ones tomorrow and some night shots too
Well the reception seems pretty good so far...for some reason I feel like I'm commiting sacrelidge
Cheers guys!

Dave, they're the ones you can get on ebay (from taiwan

)
I must admit the quality is not as good as BMW obviously, but for Ԛ£115
to your door, I think it's not a bad deal!

No, sacrilege is what
I'm committing as I still haven't changed my lights back yet!
Yours look really good after a 2nd (and 3rd!) look, might go for those instead of all reds.
Will all depend on the day and night shots though!

I think the simpler design of these lights suits the car better, your lights would be cool on a modded car with a big body kit

light up like e28 lamps, not something i am too keen on!
I don't know why they just could have made lamps which had a clear indicator but the same design as normal e30.
Someone photoshop the amber indicator to clear on standard lights i am sure that would look great!

yup, theyԚ´re nice

now u need E36 costomised crystal side indicators, crystal fogs and matching front indicators plus a set of the angeleyes without refractor glass
600 notes later
but they do look good, i couldnt really see Ԛ´em on any thing other than red or silver, or mabey black(not too sure on that though)

Hmmm... they're nice, just not very E30.

Well they say opinions are like assholes so...
I think they look a little out of place on e30's.
HOWEVER... They can't look any better then they look on your car, it looks OK and suits the car the best they can.
All-red tails would look better IMO
I think it's a good thing to put stuff on your car because YOU like it, not because everybody else does

Yes, that's my dilemma - they're nice, but are they for the E30 or not?
Decisions, decisions......

yes they are

they look very nice
only thing you have to do now is put some silver bulbs in the indicators

so that it's all red/silver.
but they realy look good!

Ok, the lights have been tried and tested by myself and the conclusion is that they should have stayed in Taiwan!
It's been raining hard all day and when I got home today the lights looks misted up. I took them out and there was water sloshing around inside
In addition, there's no cover for the back of the lights, the bulbs just kind of screw in, so they look untidy in your boot.
I might see if I can return them
Oh well, at least my experience will stop others from buying them.....it just had to be done though
Well, I guess it's all reds or smoked for me, as long as they're original equipment
Cheers folks!

Had exactly the same problem with mine.
Easy to fix though, all you have to do it tighten it as far as possible (though without cracking the plastic as I did!

)
They haven't leaked or misted up since.

There not a way to fix that??Like seal them with something or make a cover for them or adapt the standard bmw bulb holder to fit them??

gutted mate

send em back, tell em they screwed up your motor and uԚ´ll get trading standards on to them, and park a red e30 on their nuts if they dont do right by u
also tell em weԚ´ll pay em a visit, and we outnumber nuts to e30 10 to 1
?what am i on about

?
