Alpinas have been done to death.
Nice set of hartge splits in the for sale section, you cant get better than those.imo
in my opinion go deep dish / splits with black centres.

Deep dish bbs all the way,
but then again they are not really for E30s as they are 5 stud, we should be looking at 4 studs only

Borbet A, B, C, Azev A's go down a treat, Deep Dish BBS go as well, and of course the old tried and tested Alpinas.

Oh dear Lee, you've shot yerself in both feet this time....
Herbert Schnitzer?
Heinrich Baumgartner and Klaus Brand establish a small manufacturing plant for plastic body parts in Schiltach. The initials of both founders and the city are the basis of the name BBS.
---Picture the scene; a typical day in E30zone School, class 5D
OK class, PAY ATTENTION Lee; if I have to tell you again....
Let's have some examples of Good designers, but with what Lee calls a crap first name....
Burkard Bovensiepen (Alpina)
Ralph Lauren
Coco Channel
Christian Dior
Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, André Courrèges, and Emanuel Ungaro.
Christian Marie Marc Lacroix
Jean-Paul Gaultier
Thierry Mugler.
Bauhaus (OK it's a 'movement' not a person)
And the pattern is? They ain't english

Heinrich and Klaus are cool names.. Herbert is not (and why i have my BBS on

)
BUT...before i put my schnitzers back on i only need to convince myself (and others who may ask) that Herbert from Frielassing is cooler than Herbert from Merzig plus i feel his brother Josef was more the driving force for Schnitzer and this shows in his designs....

I'd have to agree that these look the best of what's on offer so far but can they be got for an E30?
If so what is the BBS model/offset of them and do you have to convert your hubs to 5 stud to accept them?
Sorry if it's an obvious answer!

when will people learn 15 or 16" wheels are as big as an e30 can handle and of these bbs alpina and hartge and mim are all acceptable modern wheels are at variance with the cars retro looks and will make you and the car look wrong mark you out as a chav and reduce the value of your car.

When will others learn that everyone has their own opinions and therefore style their car according to their individual taste.
Personally I'm not very fond of Hartge wheels but I don't come on here telling Cotty or others that they look Sh!t.
Everyone to their own, I say!! Perhaps others think that your car looks terrible!
For someone thats so staunch in their views you dont even have a pic of your car as an avatar or sig even though you're on here over 15 months!!

If your going for 17's, Azev A's without a doubt. I know they're old but they look like they were made for the E30.
If your going for 15's, BBS RS's.

I think if you'd put a bit of punctuation in this sentence, most people would have agreed with you. Let's not forget the deep-dish euro-look is as old as the E30.
MrLee - LOL good answer....except the bit about Klaus being a cool name; it's not is it?

Please explain - How? Where? Got money burning a hole in my pocket and a bottomless cash pit for an E30. And would be better than spending money on drugs, booze, gambling and stippers, hell of a party tho!

March109, your a joker!
Always some on ebay.de but there's also a site called schaulies.com that sell BBS stuff. It's in German though and i had to get my sister to translate for me

. Most of it's easy to understand though.
Alternatively, you can donate some of that cash to
www.fixadrians325.com lol
