Which Amp and Sub ?

I've just pulled out the shitty Clarion HU from my car, that looks like a big old wirey mess that a previous owner installed. I've got a nice old Alpine TDM7545R 35x4 with an Alpine CD changer to replace it. Whilst my car is minus its interior, I thought I might as well fit an amp and sub at the same time.
I know very little about ICE installs, so was hoping the zone might point me in the right direction for an amp and enclosed sub.
I'm after some nice quality sound, bit of bass, not massively fussed on out and out volume, don't really want to spend loads of ££, and getting some council tat from ebay is fine by me.
Is a 2 or 4 channel amp best? I think the headunit will be OK to power my front speakers, with an amp for rears and sub.
