Opinions dudes

Picking up a second set of ( genuine ) deep-ish-dish MIM's sometime soon, planning on painting them dark grey, should i polish the lip or leave it all one colour

Polished lips look sweet on black cars but they are going on my white Touring and cant work out if they will look ghey or not. :gay:

I would get the lip polished, they will make the car stand out and will give it a bling :bling:

can't polish a turd
LOL, that would require me to wash it first, and then i might discover more rust

I'll give it a try and see how it looks

Cheers dudes :)

hehe! i have to agree that the one above is damn sexy!!!!!!! it's mine!

one of the newly refurbished rims is off being refurbished again after the morons at my local tyre fitters mangled it. at their expense though so it's not too bad... plus that was the only wheel i'd managed to touch a curb with, now the'll all be mint again!

imo, a white tourer looks a little odd with silver wheels unless it also has a m'tech kit. mine looked wierd with the silver 17's on and i was thinking of an expensive m-tech kit. now with the 16's and the black trim, i reckon it's superb and well classy sleeper style!

i'm probably going to get a white respray at some point and replace the bumper rubbers and door rubbing strips with niw ones and it'll look sweeeeeeeet!

i've not got many recent pics but there are some on here showing what i mentioned.

the 16" (anthracite/polished) ones now have the centre caps fitted and look  !

the other pics on here show what lepsons managed to fix! no extra charge to fix the dent and even with them being polished/lacquered alloy on the lips, i can't tell which is the one that had the great big whack on it! winkeye
