You need to add a Plasterciser into the paint, it makes it flexible, paintshop is the best idea, get them to do it.

I tried all sorts with little success, rattle cans and so on. I think the problem is the almost foamy make up of the spoiler; not an easy surface to paint evenly.
If you have somewhere warm and can be bothered to sand it down thoroughy, prime it and very slowly add layers of paint and then lacquer you might be ok but it'll probably show cracks again after a few weeks.
I ended up getting a Tech 1 instead. Looks better too.

Take it back,
If they added the correct amount of plasterciser, it shouldn't crack!
Mine never has.

I think you can get coloured lip spoilers, an alternative possibly? Ask here or if not then ebay.

Maybe not an exact match if you're colour coding, but what about using a vinyl wrap on it???
I've got a tech 2 roof spoiler for the touring that I'm considering wrapping - but I haven't decided if I want it black or not yet!!!!
