where to start,wheels? interior? exterior? engine?

Just bought mint condition 316i, i know its not a monster but im looking to freshen it up,any tips on what to sort out first,I realey like Dave's 325i (MEMBERS E30's) Where do i start?

Do what looks worse would be my opinion. Any rust get it sorted straight away.

Scruffy wheels but nice seats, then get the wheels sorted likewise scruffy seats but nice wheels do the seats first.

But to be honest you have to look at your budget. You could do some little things while saving a bit of money for the big stuff. That way you have something in reserve is case something crops up at MOT time. No point wasting Ԛ£100's on wheels then the MOT picks something up that you cant afford.

Sorry Mr practical here. Had my touring three years and no mods but had lots of mechanical work. Now have lots of toys to fit and money to get them fitted. I hope.

thanx both,looks like plans on hold at the moment though as sh suffered from a faulty feul pump relay the other day (saved by the RAC man) & last night i had 2 leave her in work as she wouldn't start again.

i bought my 316i just over a year ago... this is what she looks like now

I did things as and when they came up for sale tbh no particular order.. 1st up was m-tech suspension, then colour coded bumpers/mirrors, then 15's and interior then new suspension and wheels again

just do things when you have the money and they pop up at the right price, its the best way imo
