HID help

hi all
I am wanting to put HID into my fog lights but i am not sure what bulbs i will need
has anyone done this and what bulbs did you use?

H3 bulbs are in the fogs, I'm sure I read somewhere that HID's aren't that suitable for fogs as the light emmitted doesn't cut into fog like normal halogen..... I could be wrong about that last part though.

imo i think using HID in fogs is not the best move, HID's in fog are utterly useless! it just refelts the fog back at you,

Are they just a normal H3 bulb? Because E30 fogs have a pigtail on the bulb. Or does a H3 bulb have a pig tail?
