Done it on 1 of my previous e30's.
Painted the car laguna seca blue and the hood, roof, trunk and spoiler diamond black
Lost the pics but you can see it here

it works on vdubs but for some reason, doesn't look quite right on a E30 imho.
a black bonnet looks good though
