i have just bought a small amp to power my 6X9s in the back of my touring.

where can i put the amp? can it be hidden under the dash somewhere? or is it best to hide it behind the boot board somewhere?

Best place IMO is in the right hand boot compartment.

Mine is screwed to the back of the rear seats, just under the load cover, hidden, and don't get banged when loading..Just remember its there when you fold the seats down and load stuff in!

i had two amps

one was mounted to some matching carpeted board in the right hand compartment
the other was smaller was attached to the left hand side compartment cover
both completly safe and out of sight
i use my boot so i couldn't put it on the rear of the seats

2 of mine are mounted to the sub cabinet, the other 2 are under a false floor along with the processor and x-overs etc.

can't see them due to the load cover

i thought obout doing a false floor in the spare wheel well

put a space saver in there and a subwoofer under the boot floor
wouldn't that be cool

Forget the space saver, chuck a can of tyre weld in one of the compartments and seal the spare wheel well and use the whole wheel well as an enclosure for an 8" or 10" sub

if a 15 inch wheel is going to on side . i think a 15 inch sub has got to take its place

How about mounted in the place where the switchable auto ECU usually is?
