Hi just wondering, would it be ok to use hammerite paint to paint the brake calipers, or would i need a high temperature paint? cheers

hammerite will do the job, if you check the operating temps on the back of the tin its more resistant than some of the proper high temp paint.

Did mine on my E36 a good few yrs ago and they're fine. Get some brake cleaner and a wire brush and give them a good scrub first then rinse, dry and paint. I left mine off and used a little brush to paint it on.
