Does anyone know anyone who can recover my steering wheel?
is it cost effective or should i just buy a newer one?
all the black crud is coming off on my hands, especially in the heat and its sticky and horrible.
and advice is welcome.
Thank you.

Probably cheaper to buy a newer one, around £25

Best to get a new one, cos the old one may unstich if not done properly lol.

Got mine done recently and it came up very nicely. The wheels are a bit pricey downunder so it made recovering worthwhile. The wheel only cost me about 20 quid and recovering about 50. Obviously my trimmer is a little far away from you
It might be worth tracking a leather shop (Saddlery) down as I reckon it is cheaper and better job than some auto trimmers
I suspect it might be difficult to find a mint wheel with original covering as most are 20+ years old - they seem to lose their texture

Mmm.. That does look nice. I'm tempted to get a Black Alacantra one made with red stitching.. Followed by a matching gear gaitor and hanbrake cover.

No, I've made my mind up, I want the black alacantra with coloured stitching. Now, red, silver, blue. Or dark green. I'm leaning toward silver or red..
Now, does anywhere know of a place that can do this well? I might later get some Recaro's, an m3 rear bench and some door cards made up.. It'd be good to get it all from the same place.

As I mentioned, for the wheel at least, worth checking with a saddlery / leather repair shop. I found them more helpful and cheaper than the Auto Trimmer
