Crossovers are bespoke to the components being used, so I imagine it would be unusual to buy them separately. You could always make up your own.

Infiniti something or overs. I bought them in tweeter pods, presumably I will have to match my fronts to infiniti then

Not neccesarily mate, as long as the power is roughly the same and the frequecy response is similarly matched, which most woofers will be, then your fine :D

Why not mount the crossover on the door?

It depends where the drivers are, if you've left the woofer in the original location and put tweeters in the standard location you'd have to run two pairs of leads into the door rather than just one.

I'm doing mine right now, I was gonna run the cable and have them on show in the bot along with the amps and some tify wiring but in the end decided just to tuck them up under the dash. I've got my centre consol out and there;s a plastic pannel looks like the heater whatsit, a bit of velcro and job done, no need to go drilling.

In my case I am talking about door mirror tweeters. But yeah, how much would you want to build some crossovers secondtimelucky or would you adivse buying some comps for the front first.

Is there no room next to the standard speaker location? I thought the car with O/E tweeter pods had crossovers in there....

I can probably do some in-line ones for less than a tenner posted, or separate off-board ones for around twenty quid (my pound key is broke btw  )

If they came as standard I think yes, but mine did not and the original tweeters have long since beeen repaced before I bought them and besides which my question wasnt so much where to put them as where to get them!
